Original Abstract

Humic acids participate in the transport of both beneficial and harmful species. Well-known are their interaction with metal ions. The aim of this work was the study of the influence of the content of carboxylic groups of humic acids on the interaction towards copper(II) ions proceeding in their transport through humic materials. The lower COOH content influences strongly the concentration gradient in humic materials which is related to driving force of diffusion.
