Original Abstract

The requirements for each service provided by network are increased. Providing real time services in each of network is becoming commonplace. This is true even in MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Network) networks. The network is composed of wireless nodes. One of the most important parameters of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) is the mobility of network nodes. Each mobile node may change its location with a specific rate depending on the time. The network does not contain any central point for network management. Every node in the network is response for the routing process. Providing real time services in this dynamic environment is complicated. For support this services is necessarily provide guaranteed parameters for every service transfer. It is quality of services (QoS) support. The paper describes experimental extension for integration of the quality of services support for MANET networks into OLSR routing protocol. First, it was created a real experimental MANET network based on OLSR routing protocol. The implementation of the protocol was modified about new features. The modification is based on extending OLSR message about new fields. The results of the modification were verified by Wireshark, which captured data traffic between the nodes in the experimental MANET network.
