Original Abstract

There are numerous approaches leading to increase in throughput of the existing route networks. However, only few have been investigated in detail. For proper analysis of impact of distributing traffic information to drivers it is essential to use a traffic simulator combined with communication simulation for ITS applications. That is why we decided to create a simulator called TRASI (TRAffic SImulator), which combines traffic and vehicular communication simulations. For its evaluation and testing its capabilities we used a set of simple scenarios (experiments).

Czech abstract

Existují četné přístupy vedoucí ke zvýšení propustnosti stávajících dopravních sítí. Nicméně, jen málo je jich zkoumáno v detailu. Pro správnou analýzu dopadu distribuce dopravních informací pro řidiče je nezbytné použít dopravní simulátor v kombinaci s komunikační simulací. To je důvod, proč jsme se rozhodli vytvořit simulátor s názvem TRASI (Traffic Simulator), který kombinuje provoz a automobilovou komunikaci. Pro jeho ohodnocení a testování jeho schopnosti jsme použili sadu jednoduchých scénářů.
