Original Abstract

Zesilování stávajících železobetonových prvků pomocí NSM (near surface mounted - výztuž umístěná blízko povrchů) výztuže, jako dodatečně aplikované výztuže, vede ke zvýšení jeho ohybové, resp. smykové únosnosti. FRP pruty se umisťují v připravených drážkách vytvořených v krycí vrstvě betonu s nízkým až nulovým krytím, čímž se u této vrstvy výztuže zvyšuje účinná výška, tj. zvyšuje se celková únosnost průřezu.

English abstract

In the consequence of rapidly changing demands on the existing structure (change of norms and with them associated increase in load; the change of the static system, loading of structures, etc.) raises still more issues with its static assuring, to the forefront. The newly created demands posed on the structures a higher level of load and then there is a need to strengthening this structure. Among a number of ways of strengthening the structure, such as the strengthening of externally bonded reinforcement (composite lamellas), strengthening additional steel reinforcement and other ways. The following article will deal with a relatively of new method of strengthening using the additional composite reinforcement – NSM techniques. Using FRP bars (instead of previously used concrete reinforcement) brings to this method of strengthening a number of advantages. FRP materials due to its properties - especially anticorrosion properties, the high tensile strength, low density, and more - allowing a reduction in the increase in cross-section to sufficient to increase its capacity. This article aims to describe the behavior of the strengthened elements using NSM technique, take into account the influence of used filler material and the influence of cohesion; bond of reinforcement (one of the main parameters influencing the final properties of the strengthened cross-section). such as the strengthening of externally bonded reinforcement (composite lamellas), strengthening additional steel reinforcement and other ways.
