This paper describes an approach for determination of the most suitable set-up of wavelet based de-noising method. The determination of the best set-up of de-noising method is based on biologically inspired algorithms. The quality of noise reduction is evaluated with objective criteria such as mean square error, image contrast, and slope of the edge.
