Original Abstract

The paper deals how to find the optimal parameters of tunned mass damper on the footbridge laden by wind. The finiteelement analysis model was prepared in the program system ANSYS . The wind load was applied according to European standard EN 1991-2-4. The maximum displacement during harmonic analysis was monitored and its value was reduced to a minimum by well-designed tunned mass damper.
