Original Abstract

The article describes parts of a gateway that can be used to interconnect a trunked radio and an IP network for the purpose of voice communication. The protocol conversion includes signalling conversion and voice conversion. A protocol-based model for the gateway was drawn up for making protocol conversion comprehensible.
