Original Abstract

Watermarking of audio signals as well as picture and video watermarking are used to authenticate the author and detect their copyright. Watermarking is a technique that embeds identification information (not only about the author) into digital data. This paper describes an audio signal watermarking technique that uses the properties of psychoacoustic model of the human auditory system.
