The understanding of processes is very important question related to planning, controlling and improving quality. In practice, the underlying mechanisms are frequently so complicated that an empirical approach is necessary. The focus of this paper is summarize the overview of experimental design and outline where and how the experimental design can help in quality evaluationa and improvement.
