Original Abstract

This contribution describes a definition of the optimized design of structures formulated with a dependence on life time. The target function is defined as a multi-criterion problem. The designs obtained via both methods by the partial reliability factor method and by probability-based design are compared in the context of a pole constructed from spun concrete.
