Original Abstract

This paper deals with the application of warped linear prediction (WLP) to frequency warping of audio signals. It is an extension of linear predictive coding (LPC) frequency warping structure which adds frequency warped analysis filter for variable frequency resolution. This allows to achieve improved spectral estimation or lower filter order compared to the LPC based structure.
