Original Abstract

The paper describes a novel approach to building artificial neural networks for the estimation of a proper order of a designed normalized low-pass filter. Neural networks are implemented in MATLAB. Results of neural estimation are mutually compared. A neural network, which seems to be as suitable as possible for the design of filters, is selected.
