The paper is focused on transmission of the information from energetic devices, especially from short-circuit indicator. GPRS service of the GSM network and WAN network were chosen as possible communication channels. The paper describes the testing of GPRS ommunication. Next, the paper deals with design of secure data transmission. Finally, the resulting authentication and transmission block are described.
