Original Abstract

There were derived basic differential equations for a mathematical model of the whole system. In the second part of the article there will be described various types of electrical drives applicable for electro cars: a series D.C. motor, a brushless D.C. motor (electronically commutated), an induction motor and a switched reluctance motor. For the simulation of the car there will be derived differential equations both of an electric and a mechanic part of the system. Simulation was performed applying MATLAB/SIMULINK software. As a result there will be compared two various time responses of the acceleration: the first, driven with an automatic controlled gearbox, and the second, only with a manual control. Results of the simulation are motor-current, battery-current, angular speed of the motor and a speed of the car.
