Original Abstract

Mineral building wastes are of hygienically unexceptionable character and they do not differ from natural aggregates. They were checked on the chemical composition of leach, activity and ecotoxicity . The recommended composition of concrete from crushed bricks and from recycled concrete. The strength values dependence of brick concrete on the composition shows a picture of the influence of individual concrete components. The recommended strength classes of concrete are LC 12/15 for concrete from crushed bricks and C 16/20 from recycled concrete. Both types of concrete are frost resistant for 150 cycles and they are not resistant in acidic medium. Following the prEN 206 the use of them is defined by exposure classes X, XC1, XC2, XF1.
