Original Abstract

In this article the design of an active RC (so-called ARC) oscillator with automatic magnitude stabilization using voltage-controlled amplifier is briefly introduced. This ARC oscillator is based on a biquad filter with three operational amplifiers and a VCA610 voltage-controlled amplifier. The VCA610 amplifier is controlled by an automatic stabilization circuit, which is realized as an inertial amplitude detector. The mentioned scheme is suitable for frequencies below 1MHz and for low harmonic distortion (THD below 0.01%).
