Original Abstract

The topics of this study is focused on the main problem in the field of diagnostics of reinforced concrete structures - to find out the right rate of corrosion of the reinforcing steel bar. Method of half-cell potentials measurement is not capable to obtain the quantitative data of the rate of corrosion; on the other side the electrical method of measuring electric resistance could give us the quantitative values. The development of both methods in laboratory setting and subsequent evaluating of obtained results can be successfully used for monitoring reinforced concrete structures outdoor.
