Original Abstract
In this paper, the possibilities of increasing power budget in optical network have been discussed. An increasing power budget leads to the improvement bit error rate and extending distance. A bidirectional passive optical network with a sharing optical signal has been chosen for demonstra- tion several modulation techniques. Our results have indicated the CSRZ modulation could have improved quality of optical signal in access networks.
