Original Abstract

In this paper the application possibilities of the recently presented digitally adjustable current amplifier (DACA) are further analyzed. In cooperation with conventional unity-gain current followers two circuit solutions of current-mode band-pass filters are presented. Both structures enable to change the quality factor Q independently of the natural frequency w0 by means of the current gain of DACA, where the value of Q is directly or indirectly proportional to the current gain. Non-idealities of the active elements are discussed and the simulation results of the proposed filters agreeing with the theory are also given.

Czech abstract

Tento článek analyzuje aplikační močnosti nedávno prezentovaného aktivního prvku DACA (digitálně řiditelného proudového zesilovače). Za využití běžných proudových sledovačá s jednotkovým přenosem jsou popsány dvě struktury pásmových propustí pracujících v proudovém módu. Obě zapojení dovolují změnu činitele jakosti Q nezávisle na charakteristickém kmitočtu w0 pomocí změny zesílení proudového zesilovače. Hodnota činitele jakosti je přímo či nepřímo úměrná hodnotě proudového zesílení. Jsou analyzovány neideální vlivy aktivních prvků a prezentovány výsledyk simulací, které odpovídají teoretickým závěrům.
