Original Abstract

In this paper a generalized method of designing multifunctional frequency filters working in the current mode is presented. The active element used in the filtering structures is CMI (Current Mirror and Inverter) and in the design part its generalized variant - GCMI (Generalized Current Mirror and Inverter). The full-admittance network connected to the active element is the starting point for the design procedure leading to multifunctional filters. The multifunctional-filter characteristics chosen were verified by transistor-level simulation.
