Original Abstract

Ambisonic is a surround sound system, which aims at reproducing a 2D or 3D sound illusion to the listener. This paper discusses the ambisonic principle and the way it introduces the spatial sound from the recording operation to the listener. The paper also presents results of listening test where first-order ambisonic was used to render virtual sound source in various directions in horizontal plane to check subjective sensation of sound source direction when the listener is shifted out from the sweet spot. The results are compared with results obtained when Vector Base Amplitude Panning was used for virtual sound source panning.

ambiconie je systém prostorového ozvučení, který se zaměřuje na zprostředkování 2D nebo 3D iluze posluchači. tento článekrozebírá ambisonie princip a způsob, kterým přivádí prostorový zvuk z nahrávací operace k posluchači. Tento papír také představuje výsledky poslechového testu, kde první řádový ambisonie byl použit k získání virtualního zvukového zdroje v různých směrech v horizontální rovině ke kontrole směru zvukových subjektivních pocitů, kdy posluchač je odsunut z příjemného místa. Výsledky jsou porovnány s výsledky získané při použití vektorově bázové amplitudové polohování pro plohováni zvukoveho zdroje.
