Original Abstract

In this paper,the Universal current conveyor (UCC) is presented. The paper also contains UCC application possibilities and an outline of its internal structure. Real parameters obtained by measurement are also included. This circuit can operate as almost any known type of current conveyor of all three generations and even as some other types of active element. In the paper, the single-input multiple-output (SIMO) universal filter solution employing three UCC elements is also shown. This solution has many beneficial features and offers all kinds of transfer function in both inverted and non-inverted form and that iswhy this topology is suitable to be included in the library of functional blocks. The paper also contains experimental results, whose goal was to verify real parameters of the designed block.

Czech abstract

V tomto článku je prezentován univerzální proudový konvejor (UCC). Článek také obsahuje možnosti aplikace UCC a nástin vnitřní struktury prvky. Skutečné parametry obvodu, které byly zjištěny měřením jsou také zahrnuty. UCC může pracovat jako prakticky libovolný známý proudový konvejor všech tří generací a jsou možné dokonce i některé další typy. V článku je prezentován univerzální filtr typu SIMO s třemi UCC prvky. Výhody prezentovaného řešení spočívají v dostupnosti všech přenosových funkcí jak v invertované, tak neinvertované podobě. Z tohoto důvodu je blok vhodný pro zařazení do návrhové knihovny funkčních bloků. Článek také obsahuje výsledky experimentálního měření, které ověřují chování navrženého filtru.
