Original Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe and mutually compare the commonly used methods for evaluating functional brain connectivity, i.e. correlation analysis, principal component analysis and independent component analysis, and for effective brain connectivity, i.e. psycho-physiological interaction and dynamic causal modelling. For this purpose, all approaches are performed on the same data set, and the mutual relationships among these methods are pointed to.
