Original Abstract

Embedded Systems are becoming more complex. As a result debugging and testing consume higher proportions of the development budget and project time. The described PRACTICAL tools focus on CPU independent hardware assisted debugging tools for embedded systems, both for single CPU systems and for distributed systems. The second IT system developed for industrial automation is the Sensivision system. Sensvision is an example of a system that takes advantage of widespread communication technologies like Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc. The aim was to develop a system that would enable to collect data from a technological process and allow access to all this information from Intranet/Internet.
