Original Abstract

The optical recording system is proposed for electrophysiological studies in cardiology. It allows recording electrical signals from living subjects via measurement of changes in optical properties of the tissue. The principal idea is based on application of voltage sensitive dye into an examined subject. The dye reflected light is detected by a photodiode detector. The output signal of the photodiode detector is preamplified and digitized for further computer processing.
