Original Abstract

Several simple canonical structures of the second order ARC filters employing single transimpedance operational amplifiers (CFA) are given. A systematic design procedure of these circuits based on the suitable general autonomous models, corresponding with desired characteristic equation, is described. The general structures are modified with four and five passive admittances (R or C) and studied. Input-output configurations with suitable transfer functions are chosen and checked by symbolic analysis to obtain several filter types as low pass, band pass, and high pass. One illustrative example of the DC precise low pass filter based on the CFA is given in detail.
