Original Abstract
The demands of the Europeanisation of foreign language teaching and learning in university contexts and a variety of purposes depending on specific institutional requirements support the idea of foreign language standards at non-philological faculties. A process of creating such a standard implementing standardised levels and adapted word descriptors of "A Common Europeand Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment" and reflecting specific needs of technically-oriented students are dealt with in this paper.
