The paper describes some issues which have to be addressed when developing a sensor wit embedded Ethernet interface. The paper discusses a industrial grade Ethernet connector, suitable power method and some other topics. An example of such developed sensors is described.

Článek popisuje problémy a překážky, které bylo nutné překonat při vývoji čidla s integrovaným ethernetovým rozhraním. Článek rovněž diskutuje problematiku konterukce čidla pro průmyslové prostředí.
