Original Abstract

Method how to design nth-order synthetic elements that are suitable for the design nth-order frequency filter is presented in this contribution. Initial synthetic element is included and described in the contribution. Two simple balanced-output current active elements known as dual-output current followers (DO-CF) are used in the initial element. 2nd-order low-pass and high-pass responses are shown as examples of particular solution. Simulation results obtained with 3rd-order models of active elements that were prepared for AC analysis are included together with tolerance analysis and proves design correctness.
