Original Abstract

The paper deals with the impact of the economic crisis to the field, which is presented in the media everyday in various contexts, or frequently just lifted out of the context without any links. The field solved by the trade unions and filling the thoughts of anybody, who is an employee of any company. In such a case, we place the question of our existence directly into the connection with the operation of the company, we associate it with the results of our work as well as the results of the company, and mainly with the policy set up towards us. Already in the recruitment process we are interested in the payment terms and other bonuses, or so-called benefits available in the selected company. We look for the answer to the questions - how the impact of the economic crisis is reflected in this policy, whether this factor is influenced by the company size etc. The results can help to understand better the causes, context and consequences in the employee policy under the influence of the crisis, and - at the same time - to partially recognize the problems, causing such behavior. Aim of the article and research questions: The objective of the paper is to analyze the impact of the economic crisis to the behavior of the companies in the employee policy depending on size and sphere of business of the companies. To determine whether the situation in the labor market changes as the consequence of the economic decline in dependency on the offer of the companies according to their size. To describe the changes of the employee policy in the large multinational company versus the changes in the Czech company with the size up to 250 employees. To determine what elements influence these changes of the company orientation and how the situation in the labor market is changed owing to the activity of these companies. How the employee policy changes as the consequence of the economic crisis in large multinational company, and what changes are running in the Czech company to 250 employees? In what level the orientation of the company influences such changes? Can we find any positivie impact of the economic crisis to the employee policy? How the consequences of the employee policy under the influence of the economic crisis influence the unemployment within the framework of the Czech Republic? How the situation in the labor market is changed under the influence of the operation of these companies? Methods used in research: The combination of the methods of the systematic monitoring of the impact of the economic crisis to the behavior of the companies in dependency on their size and orientation, including the analytical methods for the strategic management with regards to the employee policy were utilized. Furthermore, the information and literature regarding this issue, free description of certain changes and their influence to the strategic management of the company and the employee policy and the knowledge and experience on this activity. Conclusions: The conclusion of the paper is to identify the impact of the economic crisis to the behavior of the companies towards the employees on the basis of the size and orientation of the companies. To describe these changes with the clear link to their causes and the logic of the behavior of the companies. To identify a factual impact of the economic crisis to the employee policy of the monitored companies in the sphere of the own status of the level of the number of employees, influence to the payment terms and other benefits.
