Original Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper describes a nondestructive measurement in situ of a bridge under construction. The measurement was carried out by use of the ultrasonic impulse method and the homogeneity of selected parts of the bridge was ascertained in the first place. The ultrasonic measurement was realized by both direct and indirect methods. The direct pulse velocity method was applied to the central beam of the bridge deck and to the wing wall. The desk slab and end abutment were measured by the indirect method. The results are in the form of graphic and tabular outcomes of the performed measurements and evaluations of homogeneity of examined places.
