Original Abstract

The paper focuses on the ground fault location problem in a compensated MV network. It presents a ground fault location method using data measured on the secondary (low-voltage) side of a 22/0,4 kV distribution transformer. The paper describes possible location of high-impedance or low-impedance ground faults especially in a compensated network equipped with an automatic system for a short-time connection of an auxiliary resistor.
