Original Abstract

The research work in the area of material engineering is even during the planing connected with extensive experimental works. One of the possibilities of rationalization of experimental works is the utilization of non-destructive methods for the evaluation of basic physico-mechanical characteristics of the developed materials. In the branch of building materials testing are the non-destructive methods utilized mostly for testing of concrete. For other materials these methods are used in a substantially smaller extent. The reason is among others the fact, that they don’t exist necessary calibration relations between the parameter of non-destructive testing and the examined parameter of the material. This follows from the fact that it is not possible to elaborate in all cases a general calibration relation with a correlation coefficient at least 0,85 but better higher than 0,90.
