Original Abstract

This paper deals with the influence of listener's position on accuracy of sound localization in 2D surround sound reproduction using Ambisonics. Different Ambisonic decoders and Vector Based Amplitude Panning (VBAP) method have been used, and three listener's positions were tested in each case (sweet spot, 0.25 m and 0.5 m away from the center). The results were analyzed for comparison of the localization accuracy of each case with the others.

Tato publikace se zabývá vlivem pozice posluchače na přesnost lokalizace zvuku při užití ambisonie jako metody pro reprodukci 2D obklopujícího zvuku. Několik ambisonických dekodérů a vektorově bázové amplitudové polohování bylo podrobenu testu při třech pozicích posluchače (ve středu poslechového prostoru, 0,25 m a 0,5 m mimo střed poslechového prostoru). Výsledky byly analyzovány a porovnány pro každou polohovací metodu a každou pozici posluchače.
