Original Abstract

This paper deal with implementation of the prototype Valley-Fill (VF) Power Factor Correction (PFC) with charge pump. Standard EN 61000-3-2 deals with the maxi-mum limits of harmonic currents, which the switching power supply can consume from the power network. This standard includes electrics and electronics devices witch maximum input current up to 16A include. The load current waveform in classic switching power supply is known. This prototype improves waveform current load. The charge pump improves ripple DC bus voltage and at same time the typical input current waveform spike can be removed.
