Original Abstract

The article summarizes the up-to-date knowledge on the design of chemical anchor members in concrete. The complex code dealing with the problem is not available. The authors analyze methods enabling to determine the appropriate mathematic relations that express load-carrying capacity with different types of anchorage failure. The text discusses the ongoing experimental research in which the authors intend to determine the real behavior of this anchorage type. In particular, it focuses on tension and shear experiments. The results serve to verify the numerical and analytical models that are designed subsequently.
