Original Abstract

A method for the synthesis of floating inductors with the utilization of commercial positive current conveyors, serving as single-input single output OTAs, is presented. These blocks are then employed for the implementation of active filters which simulate the passive low-sensitivity ladder structures. The principle is verified on the example of a 5th - order lowpass filter according to the Feistel-Unbehauen approximation with extremely flat group delay frequency response.
