Original Abstract

The paper deals with an information decrease in the characteristic magnetic parameters on a hysteresis loop caused by influence of the specimen form in the structural non-destructive magnetic testing. The relationship for the so called "effective" permeability of shape has been established. The mathematical formulas have been derived for a comparison of the changes of coercive force and residual magnetisation in the "true" hysteresis loop of the toroidal specimens and in the apparent hysteresis loop for cylindrical specimens.
