Original Abstract

This paper deals with thermal conductivity of partially ionized gases. The calculation method is based on the kinetic theory of gases and on the solution of the Boltzmann integro-differential equations. The Chapman-Enskog method generalized for the multicomponent mixtures is the theoretical base for the solution of the Boltzmann equations. The knowledge of collision integrals for a pair of particles are important part in the calculation. Which collisions will be significant depend on the composition of the gas system.
