Original Abstract

The concept of "effective" water-cement ratio known as k-value concept for concretes with supplementary cementing materials (SCM) is discussed together with an analytical model for carbonation process of such concretes. The random properties of involved variables have been studied; the examples of statistical and reliability analyses of RC concrete structures made with SCM are provided.
