Original Abstract

At present, Computer-based Physics teaching appears to be promising. However, many extensive foreign studies have proved that the information technologies – unless properly applied – are rather detrimental to the student education process. One must therefore be very careful when applying them so as to get the benefits rather than the drawbacks of this approach. A research designed to check the effectiveness of the Computer Assisted Physics Teaching was implemented at our Faculty in the period from 2002 to 2003. The results obtained in the research are summarized in this paper.
