Original Abstract

The paper describes iterative algorithm of joint phase recovery and decoding. The Phase recovery is based on the Maximum likelihood estimation of the phase error, phase derotation is performed with using a CORDIC algorithm and decoding can be performed by MAP (Maximum Aposteriory Probability) algorithm and its modifications (Log MAP or Max Log MAP) or by SOVA (Soft Output Viterbi Algorithm).
