Příspěvek řeší problematiku bariér českých malých a středních podniků v kontextu procesu jejich internacionalizace. Jsou zde prezentovány vybrané výsledky provedeného empirického výzkumu, který byl realizován v rámci řešení výzkumného projektu ''Internacionalizace MSP v ČR'' (GA 402/02/0106).

English abstract

Submitted paper deals with the question of identification of barriers of internationalization activities of SMEs. These barriers can come out from general as well as field and internal environment of the company. In the introduction are indicated theoretical starting points of research of this question. From the latest trends result that just scope and use of knowledge is becoming the motive force of successful business. Neither objective nor possibility of this article is to describe in a comprehensive way all possible barriers; nevertheless, the attention shall be paid to the field of knowledge and their use, which are unavoidable within the framework of penetration to foreign markets, and especially in case of Czech SMEs they can establish one of the important barriers of their joining to international transactions. Results were used from performed empiric research within the framework of the solution to the project GA/402/02/0106 "Internationalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Czech Republic".
