Original Abstract

The effect of pink afterglow is studied in dependence on the trace methane concentration in the pure nitrogen. The strong quenching of the pink emission can be observed at methane concentrations of a few ppm in dependence on the reactor wall temperature. The kinetic model of the processes resulting in the pink afterglow is included.
