Original Abstract

This paper discuses selecting a suitable value of the timescale for generalized Laguerre functions to compute the inverse Laplace transfotm of fractional order transfer functions. The author proposes certain improovements to a previously published method of choosing a convenient value of the timescale, and the outcomes of the improved approach are demonstrated on a relevant example and compared with original method.
