Original Abstract

A novel architecture of active RF circulator employing memristive technology is proposed. The circulator contains three interconnected mem-OTAs(memristor-programmed Operational Transconductance Amplifiers), memristive two-ports behaving as voltage-controlled current sources whose transconductance is proportional tothe memductance Gm=1/Rm of gate-controlled memristor. The circulator provides the matching of asymmetrical loads via programming the OTA transconductances to be equal to the load conductances. The mem-OTA, although currently unavailable as a commercial building block, can be constructed even today via a fast OTA of MAX435 type and already fabricated three- or two-terminal memristor.
