Original Abstract

This paper deals with the heat treatment effect on the deformation behaviour of AlSi10Mg lattice structures under impact loading. As the sample, lattice structure cubes (20×20×20 mm) covered with thin plates were used. The effect of simple annealing and solution treatment with water quenching and artificial ageing were compared. The results showed a positive effect of annealing on the deformation behaviour compared with the as-built state. Due to heat treatment, the elongation of the lattice structure raised, the deformation behaviour was stabilized, and the cumulative absorbed energy was similar as is the as-built state with higher energy absorption efficiency.
