Original Abstract

In this paper, we evaluate secrecy outage probability (SOP) of a dual-hop relaying network, using a modified partial relay selection method. In the proposed protocols, a group of relays is selected at the first hop relying on the channel state information of the source-relay links. Then, one of these relays is used to relay the source data to the destination. For performance evaluation, we derive an exact expression of SOP over Rayleigh fading channel under impact of hardware impairments. Finally, we performed Monte Carlo simulations to verify the theoretical analysis. Results showed that the proposed protocols outperform the random relay selection protocol.
