Original Abstract

Monitoring importance in the Quality Management System of vibropressed concrete elements as a tool of interoperable production process control. Products under testing were tested using both ultrasonic pulse method and ball thrust hardness test (Schmidt impact hammers). This paper deals with examination of scleroscopic testing methods in light of their application to interoperable testing of interpaver elements. Various ways of nondestructive scleroscopic testing in light of their application to compression strength determination of products such as interpaver elements. Procedures mentioned in ČSN 73 1373 and ČSN EN 12504-2 were compared to the same as stated by a Schmidt impact hammer's manufacturer. We indicate testing methodics and test result evaluation and interpretation taking into account requirements of both Czech and European standards, along with calibration interrelationships for compression strength calculation using nondestructive testing parameter - in particular ultrasonic pulse propagation speed and Schmidt hammer's ball flyback, which are usable in practice.
