Original Abstract

This paper deals with the design of NOAA satellite receiver. The receiver operates at the high-frequency and can be used in the laboratory exercise at SPSE Brno. The design of receiver has to fulfil a lot of requirements like sensitivity, selectivity etc. It is possible to fully control all of the main ports of the receiver like: tuning etc. Students can tune frequency and they are able to provide several types of measurement (frequency response of receiver, input sensitivity, signal to noise ra-tio).
